McMahon & Williams Solicitors are honoured to be shortlisted as a Finalist in the 2019 Irish Law Awards under the category: Diversity & Inclusion Law Firm of the Year.
At McMahon & Williams Solicitors we believe in equality and inclusion and we value diversity in the workplace. In 2007, the decision was taken that our existing offices in Frances Street were no longer fit for purpose in a time when we wanted our offices to be accessible to all people, both clients and staff. Universal Design is the design and composition of an environment so that it can be accessed and used to the greatest extent possible by all people regardless of their age, size, ability and disability. We wanted our office to be designed to meet the needs of all staff and clients. We realised that there was no other office environment in Kilrush at the time that had an elevator. We recognised that if our offices were accessible and convenient, both staff and clients would benefit. By considering the diverse needs and abilities of all, we would create an environment that would meet everyone’s needs.
We recognise the importance of inclusion and diversity in the community and at McMahon & Williams Solicitors we would like to be leaders in this field. We are looking forward to attending the Irish Law Awards on Friday the 14th of June, wish us luck!
